school is out -- been out for since-i-dontz-know-when, and life has been a big yawn. mom has kept up the military regime -- 2 hours a day i have to hit the activity books. mom's rationale -- otherwise me brains will wilt and rust, and we can't afford that 'coz next year i hv to hv all my brain juice to the brim. mom is expecting straight a's but...u know wat...she is not dangling any carrots. she said it is for my future! sighhh...

christmas is 3 weeks away. mom doesn't believe in putting up the christmas tree. pa is but he is forever dragging his feet. well...while i wait for pa to get the 'mo..', here i am with my stocking...
