gOnG zi GoNg zi gOnG zi neeeeeeeAH...
wah...we are or-readi into day 2 of cny. so fun...collecting ang paus, eating, playing sparklers..but the days leading to it were rather painful.
since we are now maid-less, we have to help mom with the housework. cheh and sa volunteered to mop and sweep the house (very smart of them!), i had to help mom change the curtains.
man....the curtains were...man....so...man...
ok..ok...i am lost for words. after this round of curtain changing, i am all for new fashion -- curtain-less. but mom said cannot... the house would look "naked". halloo...mom...be real...who wants to look into the house...it is all the same -- every house has furniture...what is so different. well, i argued...and needless to say, i got the "piak" on my butt (ouch..ouch..ouch... no that's not me, silly...it was mom...her palm "twangggg" when it got my butt ...wahahahah...thank God for the fleshhy butts..)
it was a gargantuan task. i mean i nearly freaked out just by the thot of having to change the curtains. but at the end of it, not too badlah. i broke it down to bite-sizes...chew by chew...i mean, bit by bit...and in no time, it was all done...old ones down, new ones up, old ones into the washing machine, hung, dried, folded and into the bags. actually quite fun...u should try it some day... moral of the lesson: when faced with tasks which look mega, break them down into small ones, and tackle them bit-by-bit...nothing is non-do-able...everything is do-able...it is a matter of perspective.
....eeeeeeee....thiz iz so strange....ziz iz notz mee...notz mee...itz mustz be my alter-ego.... ah....wah.......moooooommmmmmmmmm help.......i wantz me oldz zelf back.......
